FANTASY TOMMY is fast becoming a punters pal at Youghal track, sent off a red hot even-money favourite, Tommy Dunford’s star delivered another exceptional performance in Monday night's seventh race, an A0-A1 event, at Youghal track.

Once he produced a quick start, it was race over. Pulling clear heading down the back straight, the classy performer went on to record a five and a half-length success over Hollyhill Tess, in 29.02. Leslie Coveney's runner has now won four of his last seven outings.


Mocollop Blaze was another runaway winner for the Cappoquinn kennel of Andy Lynch. In the ownership of Shay Lynch, the 7-4 market leader made the most of the drop to A3 company with a powerful display. In front early, he pulled clear in the latter stages, beating Johnstown Taylor, by six and a half lengths, in 29.09.

Pat Moloney's Ringo Kid bounced out in front and every yard of the running to record a second career victory in race four, an A2. A 7-2 chance at the off, the impressive winner showed massive all-round pace to beat Canvas Darcy, by two lengths, in 29.14.

Race 11, an A5, went the way of Tonic, making it a double for the Garryvoe kennel of Pat Moloney. Taking over before the third corner, he pulled right away to win easily, in 29.29, at odds of 2-1.

Supported into 7-4, Fairhill Katie made no mistake when scorching clear to win race eight, an A4, for Julia O'Neill, Cork. In control throughout, the winner put on a fantastic display to win easily, in 29.15.

Corrin Vicky came from well off the pace to take the third, for William Kelleher, Fermoy.  The 5-1 outsider winning by a length in 29.67.
