There was little doubt about the highlight on last night’s eleven race Limerick card as the kennel of Mary Crotty notched a litter double with Inislosky Jethro and Inislosky Urchin.

Crotty’s night got off to a good start as in the very first race Inislosky Jethro showed good determination to edge out Mohane Duchess and take his winners tally into double figures. Running from trap two, the son of Romeo Recruit - Inislosky Swift was second best on the run to the opening corner as Mohane Duchess showed the superior early gears to dictate the pace. ‘Jethro’ was never too far off the pace however, and he challenged for control midway down the back straight. Nip and tuck thereafter, Mohane Duchess wasn’t going away but in what was a very close finish, Inislosky Jethro crossed the line a half a length too good. The time was a fast 28.86 and the winner returned a 4/1 shot.

The litter double was completed in race seven which was the ‘Irish Retired Greyhound Trust A3 525’.

Inislosky Urchin was bidding for back to back wins and she intended on implementing similar tactics to that of her last victory. Swiftly into stride from trap one, the consistent black set upon making every post a winning one and aided by her sticking tightly to the rails, ‘Urchin’ held off a late challenge from Sharavogue to win by a neck. The time was a good 28.93.

The fastest time of the night came in race ten as Tuttles Prince saw off a strong field to claim a comfortable victory.

Owned by the Fly-Me-To-The-Moon syndicate, Tuttles Prince battled for early supremacy with Inislosky Romeo to turn the opening corner in control. Proving a tough nut to crack thereafter, the son of Taylors Sky - Laughil Amy stormed to a two length victory as the clock read 28.78.

There was another very likeable performance in race eight as Hidden Harmony made light work of the field to land to run out a convincing winner.

From a level break from trap three, the Kathleen Browne owned Hidden Harmony (Droopys Jet - Princess Mel) showed the superior early dash to lead into the opening corner. Showing fine courage to ship a bump, the Eamon Quinn trained greyhound went about his business in a professional manner thereafter to win by four and a half lengths. The time was a slick 28.83 for the 5/2 shot.

There was another trap to line victory from Full Throttle in race five, the ‘Rosbirr Ranger @ Stud A3 525’.

Up with the lids from trap two, Full Throttle flew into the opening corner to take a length advantage into the back straight. Owned by Morgan O’Neill, the daughter of Kinloch Brae - Fantasy Lady held a narrow advantage until the penultimate turn and this is where she really motored to stay on strong and claim a five length win. The time was a fast 28.93 for the 7/2 market chance.

Stephen O’Grady and Chris O’Grady notched a winner in race three as Brooklyn Girl ran out to a virtual solo.

Trained by Paraic Campion, Brooklyn Girl was quickly into stride from trap four to show nice early dash. Taking a healthy lead into the back straight of four lengths, the daughter of Cloran Paddy - Coolavanny Park stayed on strongly to account for a six and a half length victory. The time was a smart 28.96 for the 3/1 shot.
