It was double success for Ger Gubbins of Fermoy at Monday's meeting at Youghal track.

DOUBLE UP
The double was complete after Hollyhill Tess put on a magnificent display to take the fourth of the night, an A2.

Soon in front, she maintained a strong gallop throughout, coming home three and a half lengths clear of Witches Dallas, in an impressive, 29.10.

HUGE EARLY GEARS

Why Geldof (11-4) won by a long way with another stunning display in race 10, an A4, posting a very smart 29.43 in the process.

Clear heading down the far side, the big early pacer came home with six lengths to spare over Unknown Maxi. A great performance for the John Condon owned and trained runner, Conna.

A SLANEYSIDE WINNER

Slaneyside Kyle put on a brave display to take race seven, an A0-A1, for Derek Kehoe, Thurles. Prominent throughout, the 7-2 shot gained the upper hand from the second last corner, pulling half a length clear of the fast-finishing Mocollop Blaze, in 29.49.
