Billy Dalton's Stamp Your Feet was the star performer in Youghal on Wednesday night.

The exciting son of Laughil Blake putting on a magnificent performance in the closing race, an A3 contest. Quickest into stride, the well-backed favourite was soon in top gear. Sailing around the opening corners in front, he pulled clear heading down the back straight.

His litter sister, Nomore Drama was impressive when winning last week and this was another spectacular performance. All one-way traffic upfront, he cruised to a seven and a half-length success, in a top-class, 28.92.

IN OTHER RACES

Ballycowen Luka rates another exciting prospect for Cobh trainer Dean Harpur.

Sent off the 4-5 favourite for the A8 contest, the race was over in a matter of strides. Powering into the opening corner, the son of Droopys Sydney, a May puppy, soon shot clear. All one-way traffic upfront, he came home ten lengths clear, in 29.05.

On her 100th career outing, Witches Sonia recorded win number 23 in race seven. Owned by Liam Twomey, Lisgoold, she looked set for second coming to the final corner as Giacometti led, but she dug deep and found plenty, winning by half a length, in 29.48, at odds of 10-1.

Witches Sydney made it a Liam Twomey double in race nine, an A1 contest. The 5-2 winner just got the better of Aherla Moll in an exciting finish. A short head the margin, in 29.27.

Out the back early on, Canvas Darcy came from the back of the field to win race six, an A2, for Jerry Kelleher, Killeagh. Making his move down the back straight, the 5-1 shot took over from favourite Baunfaun Rodney between the final corners, staying on strongly, he came home with a length to spare over Rodney, in 29.27.

Slaneyside Kyle applied front running tactics to great effect in race 10, an A3 contest. The 9-2 shot making all, in 29.21, for Derek Kehoe, Thurles.
