Willie Kelleher’s Corrin Anna looks a youngster going places after a fabulous performance in last night’s sixth race at Youghal track.
A well-bred daughter of Taylors Sky-Corrin Amy, once the 2-1 joint-favourite broke in front, it looked all over as a contest. To be fair, Slaneyside Colin was within touching distance heading down the far side but the bright winning prospect absolutely powered home to beat Slaneyside Colin, by six lengths, in a top-class, 28.87.
OTHER FINE PERFORMANCES
Slaneyside Omaly applied his usual front running tactics to take race eight, an A4, at odds of 10-3. Derek Kehoe’s runner holding on to beat Witches Beijing, by a length in 29.34.
Sarou Sharon made most of the running to bring her winning tally to eleven in race four, an A6. The 5-2 chance keeping on well to deny the running on Dunbar Ben. A length and a half the difference in 29.46, for Donie Kelly, Ballinacurra.
Inniskeen Max brought his form to a new level with a brilliant display in race three, an A4. An Unfancied 5-1 shot, he showed lovely early gears and moving clear down the back straight, he cruised home to a three-length success. Karnten Bolt best of the rest, the time a decent 29.49.
The winner is trained by Jake Faul, Youghal.
