MARTHA TOPS OAKS MARKET AFTER STUNNING RUN

There was plenty of movement at the top of the Sporting Press Irish Oaks market after Saturday’s opening round action. 

Glengar Martha was simply awesome as she posted a sizzling 28.12 but many others impressed also, including defending champion A Lucky Julie. 

The pair sit aloft in Boylesports’ Oaks market with Glengar Martha 5-1 and A Lucky Julie available at 6-1. Just behind the pair is the powerful Crafty Bondi at 8-1. Unanimous Roxy, Ballymac Danica and Shebetheone each suffered defeat but are on the 10-1 mark, just ahead of Impressive opening round winner Kournikova on 12-1. 

Youandme Babe and Satin Tango both won well and can be backed at 14-1, while the only other runner at prices less than 20-1 is Ballymac Mint at 16-1. The full market can be seen below.
