Kingdom Greyhound Stadium will play host to a special Community Celebration Night this Friday, bringing together racing enthusiasts, local businesses and families for an evening of entertainment in support of a worthy cause.
Organised by the Regional Friends & Supporters of Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, the event promises something for everyone, combining 10 live greyhound races with a host of family-friendly attractions and fundraising activities.
The stadium gates will open at 6pm, giving families plenty of time to enjoy the entertainment before the first race gets underway at 7.45pm.
A wide range of activities have been planned for younger visitors, including inflatable games, face painting, children's activities, games and competitions, ensuring a fun evening both on and off the track.
One of the highlights of the night is expected to be the much-anticipated Tralee Pubs Tug of War, a novelty contest that will see local pubs compete for bragging rights in what promises to be a lively and entertaining spectacle.
Importantly, all proceeds from the evening will go to the Friends of University Hospital Kerry (UHK), an organisation that works to support patients, families and staff through a variety of fundraising initiatives and vital projects.
Adding further excitement to the occasion, every attendee will have the opportunity to win a fantastic door prize of two All-Ireland Final tickets, making the event an even more attractive proposition for sports fans.
With top-class racing, family entertainment, community involvement and a chance to win one of the most sought-after tickets for Gaelic Football fans, organisers are encouraging people from across Kerry and beyond to come along and support what promises to be a memorable night.
