In this video, Part 3 of the Irish Retired Greyhound Trust #GreyhoundWednesdayWisdom series, we are again joined by Elizabeth Gray MVB MRCVS, a Veterinary Surgeon in Limerick.

Elizabeth has enlisted the help of retired greyhound Romeo to help people learn about your greyhound's general health.

She shows you how, by sight and feel, you can check some important indicators of your greyhound's overall health, including:

- Your greyhound's weight - know what's normal

- Checking their eyes, ears and nose for signs of infection, illness or irritation

- What to look for with your greyhound's dental health

The Irish Retired Greyhound Trust (IRGT) was established in 1997 and since then many thousands of retired Irish Greyhounds have been rehomed through, or with the support of, the IRGT.

Over the coming months, every Wednesday they'll be bringing you some #GreyhoundWednesdayWisdom which we hope will help you to learn more about greyhounds and help you prepare for your new family pet.
