HEADLEYS TRUMP POWERS TO LEE STRAND SUCCESS

HEADLEYS TRUMP (Coolavanny Hoffa-Mercenary Mary) produced a top class performance to win the feature in the Kingdom on Saturday night, the €10,000 to the winner Lee Stand 550-yard Final.

Owned and trained by Nick Cotter, the impressive winner had delivered some outstanding performances over the last couple of weeks, but he saved his very best for the big night. 

An explosive start from trap two, Headleys Trump flew around the opening corners in front and in truth, that was the winning of the race. Favourite Oreo Ollie was trying hard down the back straight, but the one in front had all the answers. 

Staying on well at the head of affairs , it was a career best performance from Headleys Trump, clocking 29.59, a length and a half clear of the running on Killacolla Hill, with half a length back to Oreo Ollie in third place.
