Following his brilliant display on Saturday night, sponsors Ladbrokes have promoted Great Name That to favouritism for the Easter Cup.

Liam Dowling’s powerful galloper posted a rapid 29.53 in tough conditions to set the standard and he is now a 6-1 chance to claim the trophy on March 13th.

Dowling has a particularly strong hand with five of the top ten in the betting representing his Ballymac outfit. Ballymac Ariel is a 7-1 chance, while Ballymac Kingdom and Ballymac Wild are both at 10-1. Ballymac Cooper is available at 12-1.

Newinn Session looked certain to come on for his opening round victory and he is the shortest of the non-Dowling trained runners. The Graham Holland trained star is a 7-1 chance, just ahead of his kennel companion Native Maestro who is an 8-1 chance alongside the Pat Buckley trained Knocknaboul Syd.

Billys Diva and Epic Hero are on the 10-1 mark, while Glengar Bale is the only other runner under the 20-1 mark at 12-1.
