News broke yesterday afternoon that one of Ireland’s very fastest greyhounds Great Name That has been sold to the UK to continue his career under the care of Gary Griffiths at the Bryn Hall Racing kennels.

A top-class performer over all distances from 525yds up to 750yds, Great Name That could be a real money spinner for his new connections with the son of Droopys Jet and former TV Trophy winner Ballymac Bonnie capable of challenging and beating the very best over four bends, while he also has the stamina to be a star over some of the easier six bend trips available in the UK.

Gary Griffiths trains at Monmore which is a track that should suit Great Name That although, with his talent, he could be aimed at all the major competitions throughout the country. The November ’18 whelp is to be syndicated and we look forward to seeing him in action in the very near future and also wish his new connections the very best of luck.
