The semi-finals of the €5,000 to the winner DG Foods Ltd A4 Tri Distance Stake take centre stage at Kilcohan Park tonight.

Posh Lucy, for John Mullally, could be the value pick in the opening heat. A most impressive 28.94 winner in the opening round, the selection has plenty of early dash and she's selected to make every yard of the running in this. Knocknadoguebale is another with leading claims. In the ownership of the Dont-Know-Syndicate, she impressed last time, posting 28.67, and going on that effort, she's the one to beat in this.

Gortkelly Bear can land the second heat for trainer Michael Meade and owner Derek Larkin. The improving September puppy showed bundles of speed last week and going on that run, he should follow up in this and record back-to-back winning performances. Lough Malachy caught the eye in defeat in the opening round and he's next best for Jack Molloy.
