Drumbo Park will be closed until November 14th at the earliest following the introduction of Covid-19 measures introduced by the Northern Assembly.

John O’Connor and those involved in the Lisburn venue issued a statement on the closure yesterday and it reads:

Owners and Trainers & Patrons Please note.

It is with great regret that following on from today's' Northern Ireland Assembly announcement and in line with the new Covid 19 restrictions that race meetings at the stadium will not be permitted to take place until at least the 14th November 2020.

We are currently seeking clarification on whether or not Exercise slots can still be made available at the stadium to enable owners and trainer the opportunity to keep dogs fit during this period of racing inactivity. We will update everyone when we receive this.

We would like to thank everyone for their recent support in attending the meetings we ran up until now with the restrictions we had imposed, we hope that when racing resumes, we can once again meet up and enjoy each other's company in a safe place.

Until closer to the time please note that all dogs currently in the racing pool will be removed and a fresh pool created upon our return and we will advise when we will once again be accepting race entries.
