Burgess Canon completed his march through the Billy and Mary Ramsbottom Memorial at Kilkenny on Friday night, coming home clear to land the €2,000 prize for Paraic Campion and owners JJ Fennelly and Sheila Spillane.
This was a messy affair with many of the field finding bad traffic on the bend but Burgess Canon (Droopys Sydney/ Burgess Helena) found a way through before easing on to win by six lengths from Atta Girl Issy in 29.63

It was fitting that Karol Ramsbottom, a son of Billy and Mary Ramsbottom, won the final of the Boylesports Bookmakers A1/ A2 in comfortable trap to line fashion with hi wonderful servant, Kapuka Warrior.
The talented son of Good News and Cruel Intentions, who is owned by Matt Dunne, got loose early and proceeded to hit the line two and a half lengths to the good over Lemon Mundy in 29.08.

Aidan Denton sent out Faithful Lucy to win the final of the Greyhounds Make Great Pets A4 Bitch 525. Leading from the start, the daughter of Magical Bale and Faithful Jane would go further and further clear to see off Lads Bluebell by an ever-increasing eleven lengths in 29.23.
