Long-time Irish Derby sponsors Boylesports have released their prices for the 2021 renewal of the blue riband event.
The final of the classic, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th, may be almost ten months away but there are a number of names at the head of the betting that seem certain to be still involved.
Liam Dowling is certainly well represented with three of the four co favourites representing his Ballymac outfit. In fact, he’s responsible for four of the top seven in the market. Dowling’s Ballymac Ariel, Ballymac Wild and Ballymac Cashout are all at 20-1 at the head of the market where they are joined by Ollie Bray’s hugely exciting Knight Tornado.
Just behind the quarter are Great Name That, Skywalker Barry, Native Maestro and Newinn Session at 25-1. There’s also a pretty select group at 33-1 including Doolin Duke, Glengar Bale, Deadly Samuri and the Oaks champion Ballymac Beanie.
