ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL KILKENNY SALES

Kilkenny had another fine sale at the weekend with a large attendance and plenty of online activity resulting in very lively trading with the total turnover exceeding €80,000. 

That means it almost matched the record sale held in Kilkenny back in February. 

Advantage Rule (Grangeview Ten/ Myahs Friend) topped the sale after impressing in his trial, clocking 29.39. He was subsequently sold for on the bench for €6,100. His litter sister Sundance Erin also won her trial, in 29.42, and was subsequently sold for €4,450. 

Fastest time of the day was recorded by Southwood Fury. A lightly raced son of Malachi and Southwood Queen, the inexperienced July ’23 whelp won his trial in 29.13 and was sold for €4,900. Caseys Moment (Pestana/ Carrigoon Lottie), who boasts a 28.94 success around Waterford, won her trial in 29.39 and was later sold for €4,500. 

Puckane Mac (Ballymac Cashout/ Ayamza Royale) won his trial in 29.32 and was sold for €4,200. Litter comrades Digeos Amigo and Diegos Hunter (Malachi/ Sidarian Fern) won their trials in 29.70 and 29.63 and sold for €3,100 and €2,400.

Other sales included Oakfield Bolt (€2,700), Racenight Rose (€2,500), Sparta Kingdom (€2,500), Rosie Jackell (€2,300) and Single Lane (€2,100). 

After the success of this latest and previous sales, there is certain to be huge interest in the next which is scheduled for Saturday, August 16th
