LOHER LEE WINS IN STYLE FOR NOEL

LOHER LEE WINS IN STYLE FOR NOEL

Barry Drake

LOHER LEE, for the kennel of Noel O'Leary, delivered a career-best performance to run out a convincing winner of the K.G.O.B.A Stakes Final at Tralee on Friday night.

It looked like a wide-open event on paper with €1,100 going to the winner.

However, it was all over early doors, Loher Lee coming away running from trap five. Three clear of Megans Kell at the opening corner, the impressive winner kicked clear down the back straight.

A brilliant performance from the 2-1 winner, clocking 28.63 and proving five and a half lengths too good for Exiles Roddick.

LADYSWELL DOES THE BUSINESS

LADYSWELL landed the final of the €800 K.G.O.B.A Stakes Final, an A2 event.

Trained by Jack Kennelly for the Home And Away Lads, the winner showed a good turn of early foot and the 2-1 winner just got around the opening corners in front. Always in front, Ladyswell kept finding and the October held all challengers.

At the line, she was a length and a half clear of Goatsoul Paddy, in 31.35. (570).
