Galway hosted their one and only race meeting for this week on Friday night and despite the freezing conditions, Mr Logan produced a slick display to record the fastest time of the session.
Jointly owned by Martin and Eve Crowe, Mr Logan was having his ninth career start and is a consistent sort, only finishing out of the frame on one of those nine occasions. Moderately into stride wearing the white jacket, Mr Logan found trouble on the run-up as Puck Out drifted to the middle of track. However, showing good determination, the Donal Duggan trained Mr Logan got to the rails at the second turn and from here, he outpaced his rivals to take a two length lead into the penultimate bend. One way traffic from there on in, the son of Droopys Roddick - Sarista was five lengths too strong at the winning line. The time was a swift estimate of 28.83. (Track rated .20s).
