BOMBER BRO (Farloe Rumble-Slippery Cinders) ran out a brilliant winner of the feature in Tralee on Friday night, winning the €1,200 K.G.O.B.A Stakes Final.
Without a win in 16 outings, the Kennelly-Syndicate-owned greyhound picked the right night to return to winning form. Showing nice pace to lead along the inside, the big galloping son of Farloe Rumble was in full flight heading down the back straight and quickly moved five or six lengths clear of the chasing pack.
Pennylane Prince and Gotsoul Paddy could never get on terms and it was the first-named who chased the most impressive winner home. A strong display from Bomber Bro, who came home four and a half lengths clear, in 31.38. (570).
