With greyhound racing fans still on a high after a thrilling English Greyhound Derby Final at the weekend, the good news for fans is that they don’t have too long to wait for their next Derby fix as the BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby is just weeks away.

The 2025 BoyleSports Irish Greyhound Derby was launched last week and will get underway on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd August in Dublin’s Shelbourne Park. Tickets for the Final night on Saturday 27th September were released on general sale today, with adult admission just €25 for the prestigious final. Discounted tickets are also available for OAP’s, Students and Children (ID required).

Last year’s competition was won in November by the incredible Bockos Diamond who captivated the public’s attention. He is expected to be among the names contesting this year’s competition which returns to its traditional August and September calendar slot following an award-winning refurbishment at Shelbourne Park.
