The Irish Greyhound Board (IGB) has responsibility for the promotion, regulation and on-going development of the Greyhound industry in Ireland. We currently have an opportunity to fill the position of Relief Grounds Maintenance & Racing Equipment Operator in Kilcohan Park Greyhound Stadium, Waterford.
Job Title: Relief Grounds Maintenance & Racing Equipment Operator
Reports to: Racing Manager at Kilcohan Park Greyhound Stadium
Scope of the Role
The key function of this role will be to undertake all grounds related activities to meet the needs of the racing function and to ensure that the whole stadium is maintained to an excellent standard and ensuring that all visitors to the stadium leave with a positive impression of the Stadium. This role will be mainly relief cover at Kilcohan Park while opporunities also available to cover at other IGB venues.
Hours of Work
This role is a part-time role with varying hours available depending on the needs of the business. Start and finish times vary each day and a roster will be agreed with your line manager on a weekly basis depending on trial sessions, race nights and track maintenance required. A degree of flexibility is required to allow for changes to the racing schedule and trial sessions.
